Basil & Grape Signature Wine Tasting:

The unique landscape of Italy ranging from its hills and mountains to extensive coastline has led to a variety of terrain perfect for growing many different types of grape. Italy boasts around 20 different wine regions, each with its own unique and fabulous flavours. Here at Basil & Grape, we would like to take your taste buds on a journey through this iconic country in the form of wonderfully good wine.

Our journey will include sampling six different types of wine. Your wines will be presented alongside a generous charcuterie platter; the contents of which have been carefully selected to perfectly pair with each of the wines. A member of our team will talk you through the finer points of each wine as you try them – they will teach you the unique method of wine “slurping” as well as detailing their colours, aromas and most importantly the taste! To finish, you will be served homemade tiramisu and a dessert wine; another wonderful pairing!
